JOB SUMMARY: We are currently looking for an Insurance Account Manager to sell and manage insurance policies, attract new clients, answer questions, help clients choose the best policy, and ensure legal requirements are met. We offer base salary, commissions, 401K, PTO, and possibility of ownership after proven success. Meyers Jenk is an independent insurance agency that has an established client base of over 50 years. Applicants must live in the Dyersville area or be willing to relocate to the area.
We represent West Bend, Nationwide, Grinnell Mutual, Western National, Encova, Auto Owners, United Fire and others.
CLIENT ACQUISITION & RELATIONSHIP BUILDING:
· Identify prospective clients through leads, referrals, networking, and cold calling.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing ongoing support.
· Schedule and conduct client meetings to discuss insurance needs and solutions.
· Follow up with clients to address questions, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
INSURANCE POLICY EXPERTISE:
· Advise clients on various insurance products and coverage options, including auto, home, life, health, and business insurance.
· Conduct periodic policy reviews to ensure coverage remains adequate and relevant to the client's needs.
· Prepare insurance proposals and present them to clients in a clear and concise manner.
SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
· Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively selling insurance policies.
· Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and grow the business.
· Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and regulatory changes.
ADMINISTRATIVE & OPERATIONAL TASKS:
· Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for insurance policies.
· Submit applications and claims to underwriters and insurance companies.
· Maintain accurate records of client information and policy details.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
· Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing their questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
· Resolve client issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong sales and customer service skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
· Knowledge of insurance products and industry regulations.
· Ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Relevant insurance licenses and certifications may be required.
